PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS
You may make a booking by phoning 01989 562208 / 07799282024 /emailing eileen@twohootscottages.co.uk. A provisional booking will be held for 7 days. During this time we should receive the deposit. We reserve the right to re-let the property if this condition is not met.
DEPOSIT:
A deposit of 25% (to the nearest pound) is required to secure the booking.
BALANCE:
An invoice for the balance due will be sent 8 weeks before the holiday date. The invoice will contain information regarding key collection.
BOOKINGS MADE WITHIN 8 WEEKS:
Full payment is required at time of booking.
CANCELLTION AND CHARGES
If you have to cancel your booking the party leader must 'phone as soon as possible and follow this up in writing. Charges are as follows:
more than 56 days- full deposit; 29-56 days- 50% of holiday cost; 15-28 days- 75% of holiday cost; 1-14 days- 90% of cost; on date of arrival or later- total cost. Please note that disinclination to travel does not qualify as a valid reason to cancel. No re-imbursement will be made for curtailment of your holiday. In the unlikely event that the holiday home is unavailable for the booked date due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. flood/fire/damage, etc.) every effort will be made to provide alternative accommodation. If unsuccessful, the deposit/rent will be returned in full but you will have no claim aainst the owner.
TIMES OF ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
The propety is available from 4.00pm onwards and departure is no later than 10.30am, when the cleaner arrives. Please respect these times in order that the cottage and grounds are at their very best for your arrival. Should the gardener be unable to mow the lawn due to inclement weather, he will do so as soon as possible thereafter.
NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
The maximum number of occupants is 7 plus baby in a cot. On no account can this number be exceeded.
CLEANLINESS/DAMAGE/BREAKAGES
We do not ask for a security deposit. We trust you to leave the cottage in a similar condition of cleanliness as found on arrival. You are liable for any damage or breakages. Please replace breakages wherever possible with a similar product. Damage or breakdowns must be reported to us as soon as possible in order that we may rectify them. Pleae note all beds are fitted with mattress protectors but in the event of an accident which results in a soiled mattress we will charge for a replacement.
BED LINEN / TOWELS
All beds will be made up for your arrival. We don't charge you for towels but do ask you to pop them into the washng machine on a 40 degree wash, full spin, before you depart. We thank you in advance for your consideration as this is a great help to our housekeeper who has other cottages to clean on Saturdays.
